What's the difference between a card and a widget [1]?

I think they are synonymous currently. I wouldn't mind seeing Cards used for "static" things and Widgets for more interactive... widgets.

In my opinion, you can interact with a widget. In this case, it is not a widget, since you can't actually follow or star.
